I want to set up a camera on a tripod and take pictures of something on an easel without having to touch / nudge the camera out of position or alter the focus so I can quickly/easily photograph documents.

I have a Fuji FinePix S1500 and I purchased all sorts of things for the camera except for a shutter remote. I’m not sure which kind to get wired, wireless, and so on. Price is an option, I want to keep it at a decent price, nothing expensive. But something that will last a long time. So I can really use some help.

Can you get a remote for Nikon coolpix S220 Camera? All I keep seeing is wireless remotes for D “whatever number” not any for s220. That mean not capable for remote?

Yeah I know about the self Timer.. I worked at a professional portrait studio, I love to take pictures, and I do at home, but I do not have a professional camera just my own personal camera. So I think it would be easier to take photos if I had a corded or wireless remote to push a butt I’m instead of being behind the camera..I Know you can get one, because I have a wireless one but its only for a camera with a inforad camera detector and my Nikon don’t have one. So I was looking for a corded one, I did find a few online, But don’t want to buy it if it don’t work with my camera and being stuck with it. All I can do is try, right? and Maybe send it back.. lol.. I don’t know.. Thanks!!
