I want to set up a camera on a tripod and take pictures of something on an easel without having to touch / nudge the camera out of position or alter the focus so I can quickly/easily photograph documents.

I would like to get a wireless remote to close the shutter on my camera (for self portraits so that I don’t have to go press the self-timer button on my camera everytime I take a picture, or just so I don’t have to touch/shake the camera when taking photos). I have a Nikon D3000. Which shutter remote is best? I’ve tried googling it, but I’m not sure what the difference is between all of the remotes. Thanks!
